Ruth Potter is solo harpist in the Trondheim Symphony Orchestra. She graduated from the Royal Academy of Music, London, and has performed with orchestras such as the BBC Symphony Orchestra and the Oslo Philharmonic, to name a few. She has performed solo concerts in London's Purcell Room and chamber concerts in Wigmore Hall. During this year's festival, she will play several works by the festival composer Sally Beamish.
