Leif Ove Andsnes was supposed to have played on the new Steinway grand piano in the Free Mason Hall on 28 January. Now the concert is moved to June 17.
Leif Ove tried the new grand piano in October and immediately wanted to play a solo concert in the Free Mason Hall.Therefore, we were happy to get a date in place at the end of January, and the tickets went away in a quarter of an hour!
Due to national recommendations regarding the corona pandemic, the concert will now be moved to Thursday 17 June. Leif Ove and the Free Mason Hall are available on this date, and everyone who has bought a ticket can of course use it in April. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause our ticket buyers. An email has been sent out with information about the move and what you do if you want to get your ticket refunded.
We hope that the restrictions will ease up eventually and we can expand so that more people can experience Andsnes on the beautiful new grand piano. In that case, it will be announced on our websites and social media as it approaches.
