The Kyiv Chamber Choir has collaborated closely with Silvestrov, including on several album releases. Recently, Silvestrov has written a brand new choral work for them, which will have its world premiere at this concert!

Both Silvestrov’s elegant music and the distinctive sound of the choir is tailor made for the grand cathedral. Expect goosebumps when Nidaros Domkor joins Silvestrov’s Prayer for Ukraine as the concert finale.
