Festival Composer Caroline Shaw performs her own work "Is a rose" with Trondheim symfoniorkester.

The Trondheim Symphony Orchestra’s Thursday concert has become an annual highlight during the festival. Again, the festival composer is the guest of honor. Caroline Shaw wrote Is a Rose for Anne Sofie von Otter and the Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra – a beautiful work where the voice blends elegantly into the orchestral sound.
