In this concert-perfomance Ratkje and Trondheim Voices explores the personal origins of the shape and sound of a singers voice using biographical material, theatrical tools and continuing the Voices’ expansion of the concert situation.
Ekkokammer 2.0 had its world premiere during Kamfest 2015 when Maja S.K. Ratkje was our festival composer. The performance have played in theatres and festivals throughout Norway to raving reviews.
In addition to being one of today’s most celebrated Scandinavian contemporary composers, Maja Solveig Kjelstrup Ratkje uses her voice as the main instrument in and of itself.
