In our anniversary year, friends of the festival have presented us with an anniversary gift that will benefit the city for many years to come: A new Steinway grand piano in the Masonic Hall. The inaugural concert will be a mass gathering of star pianists around the wonderful new instrument, including the city’s own Jørgen Larsen, a sixhanded Rachmaninov and a first encounter with this year’s festival composer Mark Simpson.
