Trygve Brøske is versatile a pianist, composer and arranger based in Trondheim. He collaborates more or less permanently with singers like Isa Katharina Gericke, he plays the harmonium in Unni Boksasp Ensemble and the harpsicord in the folk-baroque group Musicus. As a soloist, he has performed with the Trondheim Symphony Orchestra, and he has premiered pieces by Henning Sommerro, among others. Trygve is also much in demand as an accompagnist and chamber musician. Trygve Brøske is Artistic Director for the Stangvik Festival, which has a strong emphasis on contemporary music. He holds a position as Associate Professor in piano studies at the Department for Music at NTNU.
