Unni Boksasp is a folk singer from Tingvoll in Nordmøre, but currently lives in Tinn in Telemark. She works as a singer in various ensembles, as well as educator and course instructor. She has graduated from the Royal College of Music in Stockholm and Telemark University College. In 1995 Boksasp qualified for the elite class for folk singing at the national folk music contest Landskappleiken, and won the class in 2010 and 2011.
