Sommerro is a well-known Norwegian composer and musician. Sommerro has music degrees from Norway, Switzerland and the Netherlands, and has had a varied career. As a composer, his works spans from rock and tunes to requiem and opera, and includes improvisation and folk music, choir, chamber and orchestra music. He has composed works on commission from several European countries and the United States. Sommerro is currently working at the NTNU Department of Music, where he teaches the organ and composition. He has received several awards and has done countless CD recordings.
