Some of the work could be of a physical nature which involved heavy equipment. Working hours are variable and we need help from early morning to late night.

Tickets:
Working directly with the audience at the different concert arena’s this goups will deal with the sale of tickets and ticket inspection. Therefore, as you are in direct contact with the audience, it is very important that the members of this group inform and direct the audience with kindness and good service! Information and training regarding the festival program and the ticket system will be given in good time before the festival starts. There will also be some sale of products such as posters and t-shirts. These will be on sale before the concert, in the breaks (if there is one) and after the concert. The ticket inspector sees that the audiences are let into the concert halls as well as monitory the health and safety within the venue.

The festivals headquarters are located at Hotel Rica Nidelven and in this group there will be a range of assignments varying from; accreditation, ticket sales, informing and directing artists, and working with volunteers and the audience. We are looking for service minded and tidy people.

Transport:

This group has the responsibility for transporting the artists and guests. We need serious and experienced people. Working hours are variable and we need people from early morning to late night. We need drivers to do the return trip to Værnes as well as driving to and from the different concert arenas. You don’t have to have your own car, but if you do that’s perfect. The festival will rent extra cars that are needed.

Distribution

This group will work with distribution of  the festival magazine, posters and flyers before the festival starts and throughout the duration of the festival. The work beforehand includes packing and mailing the magazine, posters and flyers as well as distribution around Trondheim. We need people with and without their own cars in this group.
All groups are managed by a project leader who has the responsibility to give the members information, managing the work list and is the one you contact if you need help during your working hours. We will arrange a meeting in good time before the festival where the project leader will be introduced to you.

What do you get back?
Without volunteers there would be no festival. That’s a fact that we take seriously and hope to be able to give you a good experience! We also offer all the volunteers a festival pass so you can enjoy the concerts, a festival t-shirt, and an invite to a party the last day of the festival together with the staff and artists.

Naturally we will cover all the expenses you might have in connection with working at the festival. And last but not least, you will be having the experience of you live!
